PJ Calkins

I build software and small businesses in Rochester, Minnesota — usually both at once.

Most of what I do starts the same way: a business needs something, so I build it, and then the thing I built turns out to be useful to other people too. That's how a duct cleaning company ended up with its own scheduling SaaS, and how helping founders ship their own software became a business of its own. I work with AI as a building partner rather than a novelty, and I'd rather own the thing than rent it.

Below is what I'm actually working on. It's a live list, not a portfolio — some of these are established, several are a week old, and a few are still just a domain and an idea.

Building now

Active projects. The ones marked Building are early — expect placeholders.

Queued up

Wired up and reserved, not yet in active development.
